How mmany meals should you eat when your pregnant? And what kinda foods are best to help a baby develope? Should i eat more meat, fruit, or ....what?

u hav 2 eat smart, small frequent meals, whenever u r hungry,eat.keep fruits wid u wherever u go and healthy energy bars.eat plenty fruits n veggies,drink plenty water,average 2 litres/day.eat soups,stir fry,dont eat too much meat, fattly foods,fastfoods.eat nuts,drink 4-5 servings milk/day.if u search well online,it has all foods, meal plans, guidelines, and nutritional value, avoid greasy foods, butter...etc...u dont want to add extra weight

A lot. Enough for a horse. Just kidding. Most pregnant women are advised to eat only an additional 300 calories per day and that should come from healthy natural sources.

You only need to eat 300 extra calories a day than your normal diet. All you have to do is eat a variety of fresh unprocessed food from all the food groups. Increase your intake of raw vegetables, and fresh fruit, and cut down on sugary salty and processed foods. If you are having nausea eat more frequent small meals a day instead of 3 large meals. If you eat three large meals make sure you are snaking on healthy foods in between. As far as drinks, make sure you are drinking more water and less juice. Juice has a lot of sugar.

Until you are in you last trimester or maybe the last part of your 2nd trimester, your baby only needs 300 calories a day. You get the cravings but pigging out doesn't necessarily help the baby, it just makes you gain weight. I avoided caffiene and carbonation. I ate whole grain breads and limited the red meat cuz the hormones make you more aggressive. By the way, I am not an earth muffin or granola. I drank alot of juices and green teas and milk. Milk is important for the baby bcuz he needs it for bone formation, especially in the 2nd trimester. Make sure you're on prenatal vitamins bcuz that is nutritionally complete for the growth of the baby. Give in to cravings, they let you know what nutrients your body is lacking. CONGRATS ON THE BABY

Avocado is great for babys brain development, also tuna, but don't eat too much of this, no more than 1 tin in a week, as it contains mercury, which can be damaging i high amounts. Red meat is great for keeping you iron levels up
