Well a fetus can re-grow a lot of body parts and babies can actually re-grow a finger TIP (not an entire finger), they are working on a using substance from pigs to help the regeneration process!

I don't think a whole finger will grow back, maybe the tip.some doctor is working with a pig extract and is having sucsess helping people grow back fingers, I read about it in the paper last week.
