I dont think the brand of the diaper matters as much as your baby...If I see some on sale for a really good price, I usually buy them as an "emergency" pack for the car or the diaper bag...no diaper is worse than not having one when you need it, haha.
We use Costco diapers as our diapers of choice, and we have never had a leak, so you cant really tell just by the brand :)

My baby wet through them almost every time he wore Kroger brand diapers. The best and cheapest diapers we found are the Target brand ones. They're cheap, they never leak, and they have Care Bears on them!

I haven't tried Kroger's brand. However, I know that the diaper's effectiveness really depends on the baby! My son always leaks through Huggies, but another baby at my cousin's home daycare can only wear Huggies. It really depends on how your baby is built. If they're on sale, buy a pack and give them a try. I think that is the only way you can really see how they work for you and your baby!

Like mommy_2006 said, I think it comes down to what works best for you. The only downfall is that you have to buy them to try them, and thats never much fun, is it? :) In my experience, Huggies was best. The contoured to fit my daughters' body the best & were pretty much 100% leak-proof. I didnt have as much luck w/ Luvs or with ANY generic brand I tried. With diapers, paying a little extra is VERY MUCH worth your while, especialyl if you don't like dealing w/ an unhappy baby or a big mess/dirty baby clothes/blankets, etc! Best of luck in your diaper-hunt!

I don't know I have never tried them. If you see any changes in your child's skin then you know its the diapers. The brands don't mean anything. Remember, sometimes people buy products just for the brand.

no good, you need to use twice as many so you really don't save money, LUVS, but may i suggest cloth diapers, they have come a long way and are easier to use then in the past, you can get great deals on eBay, it is a lot easier to potty train too, and it is done a lot sooner
