some people are afraid to admit it but they actually do. because if they dont they would already do something to help them already. what do u think

I think you are right. There are those of us who do possess the frame of mind that we are better than those who are less fortunate. And it is sad. I myself must admit that I have struggled with these thoughts, and I am a social worker who interacts with some of society's worst off people. When I find myself looking down on them, I just remember where I came from, and that when I was a child, my family was in that very same place. And I thank God for the blessings I have now. :)

I think I am better off than the less fortunate but I don't think I'm better than them...
but I am certainly better than the 3 legged dog that went into the bar looking for the guy that shot his PAW!

The big difference is that I'm not a terrorist, child molester, murderer, gangster, drug dealer, pyromaniac, and all the other things that make life difficult and
painful for others. Am I better than anyone else? I don't commit these crimes,
but I'm not perfect either. I make mistakes and so do a lot of other people.

You are probably right. But I do believe that there are people who are compassionate and do what they can to help. I also believe that a small number of unfortunate people put them selves there to. And their are others who take advantage of the ones who do help. Most of them appreciate the the help and are trying their best to rectify the situation.
It is those few that make people not want to help. It is sad but true a few individuals rule our reactions.

No I dont think I',M BETTer. Some people who have less actually have more. They learn the value of more important things and sometimes learn to cherish more.

I am no better than anyone just cause I have a little change to rattle in my pocket. I try to help society out when I can ....
not damage it any more by slander and being conceited.

I'm not better, just smarter. I saved my money and I suffered in places where no one dare. Clearly anything can happen to any of us to level out the field but I just believe the majority of those less fortunate than me, made their choices with bad foresight.

I dont think that I'm BETTER but i feel fortunate that there are certain things in my life that they might not have such as family and a roof over my head.

no because if we get a candy bar that expired a day ago we feel like throwing it away and we think its disgusting but ppl who are less fortunate feel so happy for the smallest things like an expired candy bar
