Rock......but then I'm over 50. Rap seems to be about nothing but violence and disrespect for everyone. With rock you have music with rap all you get is someone scratching a record and making spitting noises.

Thoughts on what, whether we like rap or rock? Rap is just modern day rock, loud, annoying, and can't understand the message behind it. It's all about getting high and making an *** of yourself.

rock. rock was here before rap. and don't say that R&B and all that influenced rock so i shouldn't be saying anything but I KNOW. grandmaster flash and the furious five/the ronnettes etc. just got inductedinto the the rock n' roll hall of fame this year. i don't like rap because all i hear is a beat, and someone talking their lyrics. rock musicians make their music. and actually sing.
