Why do people say that Liberals hate America and want to see American soldiers die?

This is quite obviously not the truth. Liberals do have an opposing view on how things should be done, but American death and destruction is not the aim. Why do you say these things? Is it a shortcut to thinking? A way too pass an opinion on matters that you will never take the time to even debate or discuss rationally? Those who have moved to these kinds of statements apparently have nothing important to say, because they have dumbed down their discussion to the point of irrational claims. Or...propaganda. Does this make sense? something similar could be said about some liberal claims too, but I'm quite personally offended to be accused of hating my country and troops.

Well since I'm one of the soldiers in Iraq I think that would make me a resident expert. I don't think the liberals hate America only the America they don't control.

I find it funny that the lib's want us all back home. Since they are not the ones here! And of course our moms, wives/husbands, children and other loved ones want us home and if it could be done we as soldiers would love to be home and not in harms way.

But we also know when to fight the good fight, to stand in tyrannies way. Liberals can not talk honestly about the war since the ones talking are not the ones here. I work closely with Iraqi's and they like us and want us here till they can stand on their own. The Iraqi's know that life is hard now the quality was not the same as under Saddam but they see the light at the end of the tunnel, their freedom.

Freedom from religious and political repression, freedom from fear. Are they free yet no but getting there. Is freedom for others worth my life or that of the other 3,000 plus who have given their lives (friends of mine included) I say YES!

Hundreds of thousand of Americans have died in both world wars for others (wish Europe would remember that!). My ancestors fought and died in the American Civil War so that people, thought of as property, could be free under the dictates of our Constitution. And their ancestors fought at the likes of Lexington, Yorktown, and Trenton.

Will I give my life for this I hope not but if helps to build a better world or saves one person then, yes!

On the lines of the Evil businesses working here Hmmmm...... You should have a look at who in Liberal power owns stock in what companies! And if we are here just to rape the oil fields why have we not drained Iraq dry in the five years we've been here?

If we look at why the military is so short of manpower and supplies remember it was Clinton that drew down the military personnel to low levels, excepted low quality recruits, and sold of military equipment (some to enemy countries). Also Clinton set the president for cut and run policy that just emboldened the Islamic Fanatics.

Oh, just as an aside I don't see the conservatives defending their ideas with cussing and run on tirades.

The plain answer is No Liberals don't hate their idea of America, just the one the Constitution was founded on (Under God). And they don't want to see soldiers die, just use their statistics to lament and cry over to make themselves feel better. If I die here so help me if they try to use me for their cause or use my wife and kids. For the little people yah right!!

The people that says this are all a bunch of sickos they know better they are just like Coulter they love to spit hate against a party that now runs the Congress and Senate and will take back the White House from the crazy Bush Admin. I can't understand how when you lose the whole caboodle you tend to get angry start telling lies on the winning party. The irrational claims belong to the liberals who slander our troops here and abroad ; then and now . Vietnam and Iraq .

Liberals like John Kerry & Jane Fonda took up for the side of the Communist enemy ; going so far as to have not-so-secret meetings with the Communist - then made slandering public statements about false atrocities by our troops . Those in captivity in POW camps re-tell how Kerry & Fonda's words would bring years & years of torture . Kerry is STILL honored in a Communist War Remnants museum as a hero who helped the N.Vietamese win against the U.S. Today , liberal Democrats in office - (would be Communist / Socialists..who rarely bother to hide it these days) commit the same acts of treason during the War in Iraq -as they did during Vietnam-in an effort to loose this war ..in the discusting fake pretense that they want our troops home . What for ? They are known for hating the U.S, military . If the truth be fully exposed - I'd hate to think what they think about our casualties in their secret meetings to wage the war on the war on terror . Brutal , vicious Saddam Hussein is portrayed sympathetically - in the biased lib media -despite mass graves of hundreds of thousands -while President Bush is called a dictator for fighting terrorists who killed thousands on our shores on 9/11 .No. you make no sense ; and neither do the other radicals . You have no call to be offended . You are part of the problem for watching it happen .

I think that a lot of conservative propagandists try to link different "liberal" groups with things like terrorist organizations. Although, the six-degrees of Kevin Bacon thing suggests that we are all connected to everyone, even terrorists, whether we like it or not.

I am also offended when people say I want our soldiers to die because I say I oppose the war.

I'm a conservative, and while I detest liberalism, I recognize that it's just mind games--support the government or you're a traitor. Liberals are not wrong 100% of the time, though I have to wonder, if it was Clinton doing the same thing Bush is doing, if they'd support him.

So if you're going to criticize, make sure it's not because it's just the party line. This goes hand in hand with "vote for the person, not the party."

Okay...answer these questions:

1) Do you want the U.S. to succeed in Iraq?

2) Is cutting funding for the troops and the war the wrong thing to do?

3) Do you find it vile, offensive and even treasonous that people are crying about how Khalid Mohammed was allegedly tortured for his confession?

If you cannot answer a simple "yes" (only a "yes", not answering a question with a question, as these questions are pretty straightforward)to ALL of these questions, then YOU want our country to be destroyed. Point is, these liberals ACTUALLY believe these things. I have no problem with someone disagreeing with a point of view. we want the soldiers OUT, not sure if the cons realize this but that means they WON'T be killed...so there goes that argument right out the window...

liberals hate America...that's why we try to uphold the constitution when some people try to mix the bible into it...don't mix religion and politics...there's no place for it...there is a separation of church and state in this nation and we cannot rule this country based on the bible..this is NOT a theocracy...if that makes us anti-American than i guess we are.

The pure and utter ignorance and stupidity towards "libruls" here is completely astounding.

Look at some of these answers. Is it any wonder this country is in such bad shape. These bafoons are unreal in their claims. If they actually believe the crap they are writing about "libruls", they are in major need of an education in politics.
