How many children did Pearl S. Buck have?

I understand that she adopted 7 ameri-asian children... but in a different book I read she had adopted 3 boys--Richard, John, Edgar... 2 girls--Jean and Janice... and then she had had 1 of her own.... Are these apart of the ameri-asian chilren she had adopted???? Please help!

She had one retarded child of her own, then had a hysterectomy, which meant no more births.
