i've tried to do it by myself but i can't reach the blasted thing!

I CAN do it by myself, but a support system is always nice to have.

If necessary, I can do it by myself. But I do prefer a support system, it's much more pleasant...

DO IT MY SELF .. there is no support system in place here for this Empty-Nesting Single Retiree who owns her OWN HOME .. and yes, I do everything .. including renovations, chainsaw work on trees damaged/destroyed by tropical storms/hurricanes, gardening, lawn care, fixing appliances, etc etc etc.

I can do it by myself! Independence is a good thing sometimes. I do like to talk to others about it once in a while.
