I am sick and tired of hearing all these bad things about methadone! methadone is used to treat people with opiate addictions, I read another question that someone asked about anna nicole smith and how bad it was for her to use methadone while she was pregnant. I wonder if that same person knows what would happen to the baby if se stopped using methadone. I guess what i am saying is if people dont know what they are talking about than they shouldnt say anything at all

to theperson who stated that methadone is affiliated to illegal drugs is an idiot. Methadone is used to treat addictions to legal and illegal substances. In my case i was run over by a tractor at work, i became dependent on opiates and they almost destroyed my life. You are a perfect example of why i posted this message in the first place, thank you for your ignorance! GOOF

If people take your advice, it's going to become very quiet in here. It's been my experience that most judgemental people are fully ignorant of at least one side of the issue, whatever it may be, but that doesn't stop them from spouting off.

Why do people judge a book by it's cover? Why do people listen to stereotypes? Many times when people or their loved ones get involved with drugs the outcome is not good so past history teaches us to be wary.They are standing up for what they believe in, just like you. I don't profess to be an expert but that is how I learn-by asking questions and TALKING about it.No offense but your posting was just babble, I didn't learn anything other than you are sick and tired of hearing bad things about Methadone.
