i know there was prolly a time when people couldn't say a lot of things that people say ALL THE TIME now, mostly sexual terms and things of a derogatory nature...but it seems like the "s" word has lost its effectiveness, as it has been incorporated into phrases like "s" for brains, or "s"-faced.

it'll probly be a while, since apparently you can't say "gd" because it offends religious people. whatever.

any thoughts?

I was watching Bad Santa on Comedy Central and I heard him say "f*ckin" loud and clear. I couldn't believe that! If they can say that, I'm sure they will be able to say "s*it" very soon. I also heard someone say "a**hole" on CBS. We're gonna reach the point where everyone is gonna say everything.

If you watch the new show on FX "The Riches", they say it, and I was so happy. They say that on BBC America all the time (Footballers' Wives, Bad Girls, Mile High). And if you watch Comedy Central's Secret Stash on weekends, they'll play rated R movies or comedy stand up uncensored. It just sucks because I'm not trying to stay up past 1:00 in the morning just to hear naughty words.

Cheers!
