How are you supposed to get that sword out of the middle of the circle when the animated stone statue is trying to crush you? everytime i get her down for a bit and hold R1, my red orbs expire inside the sword but it never comes out?

are you talking about the first fight? if so you asre supposed to drain your god powers into it to release it... all of them until u are mortal again

You need to fight him and beat him it takes 3 times then when he is stunned pull the sward for every time you stun him
You can also through his hand at him it will be on the right it is a free hit to stun him.
