Who else agrees?
Yeah, Steve Nash should be MVP again but Dirk has been putting on a show since the beginning of the season

see, what i'm hearing is that 'sports media' mentality, that says....Nash has played better than he did before (when he won), so he HAS to be the MVP. BUT that is absolutely not how it should go down. first of all, the MVP should have gone to Kobe or Lebron last year. 2nd, just because Nash is playing good, doesn't mean he's the MVP. Dirk is Dallas...and as he goes, so goes Dallas. Why do you think Nash should get it? What is he doing that says he's the MVP? well any and every case you can make for him, can be made for Dirk. yeah, his points per game are down by 1 point...but his boards and assists are up, and Dallas has the best record in the NBA at this point. Don't get stuck in that box that has already ruled Nash as the winner. Look...last year, Dirk is the one who was able to lift his team over the hump, and for anyone who wants more....DALLAS IS NOT A PLAYOFF TEAM WITHOUT DIRK! so...in actuality, you contradict yourself by saying Nash should be mvp BUT... there is no but about it...and Nash should NOT be mvp again. the 1st year he earned it. last year he stole it cuz it wasn't his. this year the only way he should get it is if the suns go undefeated for the rest of the season...otherwise, it's Dirk's turn.

Consider these two things

1. Which team has the better record?

Dirk owns that

2. Who has more help on the court? Surrounding cast? Better players around him?

That belongs to Steve Nash

Dirks getting it done with not as good players around him unlike Steve Nash, although Nash is getting it done.

Think of it like this too, Nash leads in assists, but many players can lead in assists.

DIRK FOR MVP

Dirk is a sturdy participant, a 7 footer who can hit J's from everywhere yet he won't be able to lead his team, he's basically between the finest gamers in Dallas...others are terry, howard, stackhouse, harris, and so on...without Dirk Dallas can nevertheless be a playoff team and he's not that efficient in his team on the prompt and he enable his team down at the same time as Dallas necessary him the most...Dirk choked!

If Mavs finish w/ the best regular season record... Then Dirk.
But...

If the Suns overtake the Mavs for the best reg. record then I would go with Nash.

Both are neck and neck!
