How about if someone pokes fun at you or disrespects you in perhaps a jovial way? Some I am sure can take it but out of respect, unless you truly know the person just be politically correct till you do and if they will or wont handle your jokes as you call them. But I suspect these jokes are at anothers expense.

Count me out - I'm always looking for the joke in the serious questions. The other ones that get my goat are the spelling police - one mistake and I get 20 answers telling me I can't spell - which I know and have known for many years now.

I just don't know, why someone would come on answers with the express purpose of reporting people and stiring up trouble. Guess they just need to get a life.

Sometimes hard to tell the jokes from an idiot being serious. I had one a while back that I had answered and submitted then realized that maybe it was a joke. I edited and left the asker with both answers to decide between.

I guess it depends on the nature of the joke and the person involved. Thing with the internet is, you aren't face to face with the person so you can be a bit rude and not face any sort of repurcussion.

Some people might had a bad day and don't feel like joking around. Or, maybe they found the joke defensive

Well, some people can be super sensitive. I used to be like that but now I'm not, it just takes time for people to learn that people aren't trying to hurt them, just trying to be funny.

Some people cling to being miserable. They are comfortable there & want company. Don't let them get you down.

Some people are very insecure and take even the slightest things personally. Sad but true.
