Lenin was so significant that the Germans, at war with Russia, transported him from Switzerland to the Finland Station in St. Petersburg by sealed train. That's like saying Grand Central Station in New York, as opposed to Penn Station. Lenin fulfilled their fondest hopes by launching the October/November coup against the provisional government of Alexander Kerensky. People say October/November because there was 11 days between the Julian calendar in use in Russia at that time and the Gregorian calendar in use in the U.S..

Yes. lenin IS the father of Communist Russia, though his reign was brief and strict, he had actually managed to feed most of Russia.

The Bolsheviks played a HUGE part in the October Revolution, part of their goal is to eliminate all members of the Romanov monarch (not one was spared), which they did, because they want freedom from poverty for the people and to establish a modernised rule in Russia. I think the slogan was Bread or something (forgot).

Pretty significant since Lenin and the Bolsheviks gained control of the government and introduced Communism to the Soviet Union. Seems pretty significant to me.
