Yes. India has as much chance of winning the World cup as Sania Mirza has of winning the US Open this year. But if India is to win then we must include Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev in our team. We are going by the 'age & experience' model while Bangladesh has populated their team with teenagers! Our BCCI should also look after the team players better - for instance the Treasurer should use his new Rolls Royce to ferry players from the hotel to the cricket venue each day. Our players should emulate the BCCI. Win or lose the BCCI is always victorious!

If India is Team is serious about winning the world cup, their first task will be to enter Super 8, for which they have to win both the remaining games. Once they do that, their next task should be to reach Semi Finals and Finals. While I am not at all optimistic about India's chances in winning the world cup, since cricket is a game of uncertainties and as Indian Team is totally unpredictable, chances of India winning the world cup cannot be totally ruled out once they enter Super 8.

somewhat of putting forward, "can we win", i imagine you should assert....... "WE could WIN". If we do not win it this time, we won't be able to win it for a lengthy time period, possibly even up till Rush's 2112. Flat pitches favoring the sluggish bowlers will be very powerful in overcoming South Africa, England and Australia. South Africa and England have traditionally got here around the spinning tracks of the sub-continent now to not their liking and have a tendency to break down/choke really on a annoying chase. New Zealand, West Indies and Pakistan are at a serious flow highway and that i do not see any of those communities making it. Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, and so on are in simple terms there to make up the numbers. Which in person-friendly words leaves Sri Lanka. as long as India is careful now to not repeat the 1996 tournament, the international Cup is in India's kitty. i do no longer imagine a much more advantageous favorable situations will ever again arise for India. To summarize, The maximum effective communities in the international today, England and South Africa are both quite fragile on Indian pitches. pretty adverse to our sluggish bowlers. the oftentimes sturdy Australia and Pakistan at the instantaneous are rebuilding their communities. On proper of this, we get to have our personal FLAT PITCHES the position YUSUF PATHAN can TONK the balls at will.

Honestly the loss to bangladesh was pathetic. kudos to bangladesh for good bowling and keeping the ball closer to the legs than the bat. will india win, i hope since i am a die hard india cricket fan. should they win, well if they play a good match against bermuda and beat siri lanka they will have a CHANCE. but they need to get past australia and (some people may think im stupid but...) ireland. remember the fact that they did beat pakistan who has one of the best bowling squads in all of cricket. so the final answer is 2nd place.

no i wont say no chance but if they dont take the cup seriously then i m sorry india will be the next team to be kicked out of the world cup and bring shame to all u indians out there
however if india does get their things straight and play like a good spirited team and win all their matches then yes i think india has a chance
or they would have to say goodbye to west indies and the world cup

Not sure about the world cup.!!

But India now, after getting beaten by B'desh is surely gonna do good in next 2- 3 matches. but it will last only until people make them reach on cloud number 9 again when they start to lose..

IT sure has the chance, but other teams such as Australia, south Africa, or even Bangladesh have more CHANCES for the world cup.
