Dont just use the lotion, after you soak in a long hot bath, you need to spread vaseline petrolium jelly all over your legs and then put a pair of pants on and let your legs soak it all in. After it is all soaked in, then put the vaseline intense moisturizer on but make sure that in the ingredients you dont see alcohol anywhere because that will just cause them to dry out again. Seriously, exfoliate as much as possible in the bath and then put the petrolium jelly on them and they will get better after 2-3 days depending on the severity.

The weather certainly doesn't help does it? Arbonne has an awesome body care set containing a body serum and hydrating lotion that does wonders! The products are botanically based and do not contain harmful ingredients such as alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, mineral oil, acetone, etc. They are water based for maximum benefit and will deeply condition and hydrate your skin. Lotions that contain mineral oil, the molecular structure of which is too large to penetrate the pores of your skin, sitting on the top layer like saran wrap. Products that contain mineral oil get wiped off over time and have little to no benefit. This is why you find yourself reapplying your lotion three times a day. If you're interested in learning more, I'll be happy to help.

most over the counter "moisturizers" are preserved with alcohol. (any word ending in 'ol' is a form of alcohol) alcohol is a drying agent, so I'm not surprized it isn't working for you.
first, only shower with dove soap and then only shower every third day, showering, or bathing, will leech moisture from your skin. Next, go to a supplement store and get a natural moisturizer, something with vitamin E in it, and no alcohol. Good luck.

Try 'Eucerin' cream. Palmer's coco butter. Lubriderm. Aveeno... These are all good brands. Put the moisturizer on when your skin is still damp right after showering. Also, try changing the body wash you use to something mild or even for sensitive skin. You may be dry b/c the cleansers and lotions are too harsh. Also, try changing your laundry detergent. Good luck

Its because it is winter. Use gold bond lotion every night and when ever they seem dry and cracked. Take a hot bath and then rinse with luke warm water to get the dry skin cells off and then mosturise. Also baby oil works.

See a dermatologist. He can give you a prescription strength moisturizer. Have you tried body butters? The Body Shoppe has them.

I will tell you what may work, get olive oil at the grocery store and put it on your legs, also, or get a aloe vera plant and cut off a piece and use the inside and rub it on your skin.
