I also co-habit, both of us have been married and for different reasons are now divorced. I spent a year being single after my divorce and a couple of long term relationships and thoroughly enjoyed it but now I have found the right man I realise that with compromise you can still have your own space and all the benefits of a 'married' relationship.

Having experienced like a lot of people both sides of the coin, I can categorically state that Marriage maybe an institution but it`s an institution I would rather be in,unfortunately at present I am not.

I would rather be married, but that's coz i am single.!! We all want what we haven't got(but the grass isn't always greener on the other side, or so i am told!!)

Single all the way.
Negative - have to do all my own housework
Positive - have full control of the remote control
- can go out whenever I like
And single women live longer!

well my boyfriend and I have been together 6 yrs now...he has asked me to marry him (bless his heart) but i said no as i didnt want to pay for a divorce a few years down the line!!!

married, never be alone, got someone to come home to, some one to talk to and someone there to love and be loved by, being in a happy marraige is the most amazing feeling in the world. i have some freinds who would disagree though and love the single life, no restrictions, out when and where they want, dating men. so its each to their own really xx
