no, not at all. it's totally different, and i think it's just meant for having active fun. it's totally not for the serious gamer. our family loves it ! we also have playstation 3 and my oldest son does his serious gaming on that system.

Yes but not in the same way as the PS3 and 360. The Wii has a very interactive controller which is a different approach to home video game systems. The PS3 and 360 strengths are in its graphics and HD output.

I certainly do because its next generation gameplay! The others have gone in a different direction with next generation graphics. It still has good graphics but still is next generation. It came around the same time of PS3 and Xbox 360 so it definently is next generation.

i would say yes (4 nintendo anyways) because its tons better than the gamecube.
but in some ways no because well i just like the 360 and even more the ps3.

definitely it works almost flawlessly with the wii remote and the graphics really aren't as bad as people think
