If you are trying to avoid air time and wait time, you can get a similar effect as the front car by sitting one or two cars back from the front. Otherwise, you should just get in the longer line so you can sit in the front car. Be aware that the farther up you sit in the train of cars, the greater the sense of hanging suspended while you wait for the back cars to reach the top of the hill and end their drag on the rest of the train. To avoid this sensation and the sensation of air time, try sitting in the middle of the train. Good luck and enjoy.

If you can select where you want to sit just head to the appropriate row. If they assign you as they do on most Disney coasters just ask the Grouper(The person who asks how many are in your group) that you would like to sit in the first row. If you ask nicely and before they have already given you a row they will usually do it, there may be some cases they won't but a vast majority of the time they will try to accomondate you. If you don't care about the exact row just let them know you want to be near the front and they should have no problem putting you there.

Try and get in the front line, it usually is a longer wait BUT a lot of people have the same idea as you do. So, maybe try sitting in the very back, you go faster and pull more -G's. If your willing to wait then you WILL get in the front line but if you don't want a wait then try the back. None the less, the front line is opened to everyone with patience.

If the ride does not have a front line. Once you get up there let some people go ahead of you if your not one of the first people getting on. That way when the coaster comes back around you are first.

Threaten the people working at the ride to put you in the front seat. You might get arrested after the ride, but at least you got the front seat.

Alot of major amusement parks have a special line for the front seat. It's usually alot longer than the regular line too, but if that's where you want to sit, alot of people think its worth the wait.

There is no way to guarantee... however some rollercoasters have special lines that usually require a longer wait to sit up front. If there is no special line, you can always ask the attendant on duty.
