I just recently experienced a little spotting and I've been having pretty severe stomach cramps for the past three days now, but I still haven't started my period. Usually my periods are pretty regular with mild cramping. I've never had this happen before so I'm wondering if there could be something wrong or if I could possibly be pregnant?

It's probably PMS which is premenstural syndrome - which include painful cramps & spotting before a period.
I get mild cramping before a period, it's nothing to wory about unless you're having a relationship - you should get a pregnancy test if you are.
But it's normal i think :-) x

Even if you have never had cramps before, different things can influence the way your body goes through it's cycle. Stress, different eatting habits, lack of sleep, or many other things can cause changes. Also, things may just change over time, as your body changes. I never got cramps in my teens, but as I have hit my mid 20's I've started to get them more.

You may wnat to take a pregnancy test, and if this happens again you should call your gyno or get checked out at a clinic. It may be nothing to worry about, but it will put your mind at ease to see a doctor.

Don't know the answer, but I should wait a few days and see what happens. If your period does not come then take a pregnancy test.
