Have you ever been frightened by an animal ?

Not for awhile now. There was the time a dog ran out and sunk his teeth into my calf when I was on a bike. I was scared enough to arm myself with a bat for a couple of days.

Then, many years later, I was unzipping my tent in Yellowstone Park when a bear stuck his head in and sniffed me for a good long time. My fear must have smelled awful, covering the smell of sandwiches he came for, because he left without trying to eat anything.

Once, I thought it was a large snake, but it was a woman who sits in front of the computer day in day out and stalk every woman her man calls out at night in bed. Once in a while she is out shopping at Target and Smart and final, while he sits outside talking to me. That's when I was frightened, thinking it was a over sized snake.

Two wolves had me corned in the Utah Mountains while out on a hike. Grabbed the nearest rocks and big sticks and proceeded to put a hurt on them till they ran off.

Yes, Wojo, my neighbours dog when I was growing up. I remember riding my bike home from school in 3rd grade, having to get as much speed as possible so once he started chasing me I could put my feet up on my handlebars and hope I could coast all the way to my front steps.

Spiders, but they arent animals they are arachnids.

I was scared of a dog, when it attacked my 4 year old neighbor....he had to get 100 stitches all over his body.

My ex roommate had a tarantula which used to escape it's cage all of the time. It's bad enough I never liked spiders, but now I have a slight arachnophobia.

Yes, a skunk almost sprayed me in the face last year, I didn't see it and it was really dark outside, I almost stepped on the poor stinky critter. It's tail went up and that is when I saw it. That was scary. =)

Just the animal itself will not scare me but if I believe it is going to do something unpredictable then I get nervous.

Yes,I am very afraid of possums and when I was walking home from babysitting when I was younger there was one in my driveway that kept hissing at me.And one time when I went camping one ran in front of us when we were sitting by the fire and it was hissing and acting all crazy.I hate them so much!
