How 'bout an accidental blessing? We have one of those. Tried and tried to have kids. Finally we had twin boys. They were 9 months old when my wife became prego again. I still remember being at the store with a six pack and a pregnancy test. I asked her to guess which one was for me. Cashier thought it was quite amusing.

My wife cried for a week.

Now he's three years old and truly a blessing. An ornery one at that.

Definitely not a mistake....I now have a beautiful 17 year old daughter from an 'unexpected pregnancy'.

I was really shocked at first, and tried to hide the fact that I was pregnant, but wouldn't swap the last 17 years for anything. She is my rock xx

I would call it a mistake as you could prevent an accident. Saying that though, that sort of mistake they would prevent as well if they had any idea what a full time job being a parent is.

Depends if you do it through drunkenness/ intoxication of some other kind (accident), or because it seemed like a good idea at the time and now you've seen sense (mistake).

Either way, I'd call the kid "Oops" - would make an interesting ice-breaker for it, should it survive to school age.

You might not want the pregnancy but I bet you want the baby when it comes. So really it's a happy accident.

Its a mistake when you abort it, an accident if you keep it.

The way I think anyway.

she was a blessing in disguise.I never wanted kids and did everything except not have sex to prevent it but she's here and I wouldn't go back for anything.I don't even remember what it's like to not be a mother.
