my parents are weird about eye makeup. how do i look pretty without eye makeup when i just use things like blush, bronzer, and lipgloss, that sort of thing. any special tricks?

use clear mascara just to groom your lashes and your eyebrows. maybe you can get away with black or brown mascara, not too much, though. use neutral shades of eyeshadow, such as cream or beige. there are also sheer eyeshadows that give your lids just a hint of color.
blush and lipgloss are important. without color on your cheeks and lips, you'll look unhealthy. keep it light and natural. use lip and cheek stains, or cream blushes and lipgloss.

Yea jus use natural looking foudation with a pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. Then do a shiny pink or light brown lipgloss. Use bronzer on your neck to match your skintone. Shape your eyebrows so they match each other. You can use bacl mascara though. Trust me, parents never notice black mascara unless your eyelashes are blonde or really light brown. If they are jus use clear mascara.

instead of loading up on eye makeup, all you really have to use is mascara (hopefully you can, you can even wear clear mascara if ur parents dont want black or brown), blush and lipgloss. guys tend to like that look anyway.

I agree, just wear sunglasses untill you feel confident to take them off, just go all natural for a week. I also suggest you change the brand of eyeliner/mascara or change it out if it's old. (you should swap out your makeup about every 5 months)

If your parents dont like the eye makeup just curl your eyelashes and apply clear mascara.

By smiling with your eyes. Tyra knows how to do it. It's like you have a fierce but model-like look in your eyes. Just make your eyes look happy and bright like a smile, but without smiling.
"I'm sorry if I don't wear Chanel or Louis Vuitton but all I need is a smile on my face!"
Just say that to yourself but it this case, you don't need makeup.

my parents are the same way sometimes.
this is what i do...
lipgloss= a clear, or peachy color.(shiny.luscious my maybelline)
blush=Apply lightly in a v-shape pattern. LIGHTLY!!!(wet 'n wild)
**idk if you wear mascara but if so try lash stylist (it's light and clump-free!), or a tinited one. ***

a light eye shadow (tans,browns)
NO DARK EYELINER!(light brown or gray nothing to dark like black or blue.)
Lay off the mascara(instead how about using an eyelash curler)

everyone looks pretty with or without makeup. i put makeup up on and it helps me look better. ur choice.
