Why does our culture show sex as vulgar and nasty and only for people who look like models. Why is it so twisted here in the U.S.? I mean is it just simply money and leftovers from the Puritan times or what is it? It certainly isn't healthy for young people!!!!

I get plenty! I mean for real. I can get it whenever I want. But I'm just saying, culturally that is the message at least by the media.

Good question. I saw something on TV the other day that was showing a greek statue, female, upper body nude, and they had little blockout pixels over the breasts. For pete's sake, it's a freakin STATUE. Are we that terrified of a naked boob that we can't even show a marble one on TV now? We all have them and they're not dirty or nasty.

I'm waiting for the sex-is-bad contengent to refuse that shot for their daughters to protect them from getting the virus that causes cervical cancer, so they can tell their daughters that they'll get cancer if they have sex before marriage.

We just have a really screwed up culture. There is a lot of corruption. People need to realize that forbidden or illegal things are not necessarily bad and vice-versa. Tobacco from cigarettes is the deadliest and most dangerous psycho-active drug in existence exhibiting neuro-toxic properties and it is legal. Now take marijuana, on the other hand, not neurotoxic and doesn't cause cancer- it's illegal. Very strange events have taken place to shape our culture into what it is, and a big contribution was religion. Some old people basically decided that since they were about to die, they would make it so future people lived miserable lives by banning everything that makes life great.

I think sex has become bastardized by our culture. The fact that you qualified your question and details about being able to "get it" whenever you want it says something. That attitude has cheapened sex into some dirty filthy act. I'm a purist. I like things for the way they are and/or could be in their best form. Sex should be something shared between two people who want to express their inner feelings for one another physically. That is a most beautiful thing. That is the message young people should be getting and unfortunately they are getting just about everything except that.

Unfortunately our conservative society can't get past the idea that "cultured" human beings can't think like the natural animals we all are.

That statement can go in many directions, but I think what it has to do is with a restraint of desire. If we all did what our passions and desires suggested, our society would be in a state of chaos.

Also our human sexual instincts tend to be attracted to beauty and the media makes TONS of $$$$$$ exploiting that idea.

I guess ugly is only for horror/comedies.

Judeo/Christian viewpoint. Sex outside of marriage is fornication. Sin.
We believe whoever you are 'joined to' you become one with them. "One with a prostitute" can't be a good thing. The puritans left their mark or maybe stain. Now Hollywood is trying to write the moral codebook. If I hear one more "if you really love each other" I'll scream. If u love each other you'll wait until marriage. In a committed relationship, (1 man 1 woman) sex is a really great thing, and in God it is also very spiritual and intimate. It is a type or shadow of Christ and His church.
God created male and female. Hollywood and the lusts of man have perverted many values.

funny tale and humor is going via cycles. at the same time as i replaced right into a baby Polish jokes were each of the fad,in the 80"s it replaced into about sexuality and homosexuality, now they're about different cultures. i actually dont imagine maximum peole attempt to be recommend (hell I snigger on the pink neck jokes becasue i visit narrate with my relatives) each body takes the opportunity of offending someone at the same time as they ahead issues, even if or not they're non secular, racial or political. i imagine caution needs for use, i know I wont deliver Obama jokes to my democrat acquaintances yet will to the repulican ones. you basically favor to apply caution

You -uh- haven't noticed how corrupt our society is? The Bible portrays sex as beautiful. It's just our society that has decided that it's sick. Guess who is REALLY sicko?
