It is the duty, right, and priviledge of each American to vote when they come of age.

Duty: in the sense that without the people, this great country will become a dictatorship, and we will no longer have the foundation of Democracy in our world.

Right: because we ARE a Democracy and thereby are run by the people indirectly through our elected representatives.

Priviledge: we have the honor of being allowed to help make the decisions of our country. Without the people, as I've said, this would be a Dictatorship. When you are given something precious, do you just throw it away? (I don't) Voting is a precious priviledge of the American people...just think, you could be living under a Communist Dictator (I know this probably won't offend anyone who actually does live under the power of a Communist Dictator, 'cause they won't have the ability to see this website due to filtering by their corrupt government!)

Yes, I will be voting in these next elections (something I've been looking forward to since I was 6!!)...

If you aren't willing to stand up and take the duty, right, and priviledge you've been handed...

BE SURE TO KEEP YOUR SEAT WHEN WE START ARGUING ABOUT THE LOUSY GOVERNMENT.

(not that I think our government is lousy now...I rather like it...but I'm sure I'll be complaining later on in life...and if you don't want a say...DON'T TAKE ONE.)
