How about a luau. You could make smoothies, have fresh tropical fruit and other dishes that may reflect the culture. You can usually find cheap decorations in places like the $ store. Maybe try to make up your own versions of belly dancing.

Or what about a game theme night. Everyone brings a board game and you can all veg out trying different ones.

Maybe something like an all night movie inspired thon. Pick a movie that has a number of series included. Like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings etc. Or go with some oldie style series like Anne of Green Gables, Wizard of Oz etc. Make popcorn etc.

What about a cook off. Every girl brings in a recipee and ingredients approved by their parents and you all experiment making different dishes.

Also, no need to stay in all night. Many swimming pools have teen nights on the weekends. Why not go swimming. Even rollerskating is a fun option to do if there is something like that nearby. Try bowling - its not just for old people anymore.

Probobly a sleep over, my sis, (11) is having her bday like this: limo with her closest friends for about 2-4 hours, then an hour later, all of the other friends come over for a pool party (her b-day is in the summer) plus the kids from the limo, and when the non to close friends leave, the others have a slumber party!

You could do like a make over party... This is where you do all of the girls make up and paint there finger nails.. Then you would do there hair and then they dress up in clothes.. Ive known a couple of people that has done that with their kids and their kids loved it.

how about a sleepover and makeover party. Just ask a few of her very good friends, hire girly dvd's, get chip, dips and chocolatem get lots of make-up, nail varnish, and hair accessories and leave them too it. Believe me they will love it.
