I am very sure I had protected sex and want to know if having delayed periods is normal and there are no chances of me being pregnant.

Even someone with the most regular periods can come up late every once in a while. But if you are as regular as you say, and the only protection that you used was a condom, there is a great chance that you might be pregnant. However things like stress or depression can cause you to have a late period. Just to be on the safe side, I would buy a pregnancy test as soon as possible. And the brand does not matter, cheap ones are just as accurate as the more expensive brands. Make sure to take the test right after you wake up in the morning with your first pee because that is when your hcg (the hormone that detects pregnancy) level is the highest and that is when you will get your most accurate result.

If you are very regular with your periods and you are a week late, I would go get a pregnancy test. Yes, you had protected sex ...but there is always that percentage that the protected sex could fail. To be for sure, I would go get a test done.

There is a chance you might be pregnant, but to make sure take a home pregnant test just to make sure, but it is normal not to have a period because I have my tubes tied and I know I cant get pregnant, but I missed a whole month and the next month it came just as normal.

If you had protected sex, chances are very slim.
However cycles do change, stress also delays or makes periods come earlier, diet, and worry can also delay.
If your worried do a test, condoms do split and these are of a rarity, and you would know about it.

Protection isnt always 100%, but your period could be late for a number of reasons. Take a test and put your mind at rest.

condoms are about 97% affective, but there is still that small chance that you got pregnant. take and test to ease your mind, but there are other reasons why you may be late, such as stress. If I am stressed I will skip my period all together, so its definately possible. Good luck!

So, your one of those people who believes that if you use a condom or are on birth control you cant get pregnant. Well sweetie you can. If your late take a test, and stop thinking in the sense that you cant get pregnant.

There could be many things causing this but it doesnt sound good from my point of view hun! The timing is about right also. But there are other things that could cause you to be late such as stress or if you have been ill. Good luck xx

u could be pregnant or just ur period bein late.. last month my period was 6 days late{im tryin to fall pregnant} and my periods are very regular as well.. so dont worry get a home pregnancy tesr..ease ur mind...

I used condoms everytime with my boyfriend everytime we had sex and now were expecting our first baby! Im not trying to scare you but it could be a possibility you should buy a home pregnancy test
