I just got a new laptop with the new Windows Vista installed on it. I need a printer( the HP kind) and no printer won't work. Do you know any place to get a printer compatible with Vista?

There are many HP printers that are compatable with Vista. HP has also created a Express Upgrade kit for Vista.

Check out this link for more info.

Make sure whatever printer you get is VISTA compatible. For an older printer, go to their website to download the VISTA Driver (you most likely need the 32 bit version.)

Lexmark has some of the drivers posted, others will post in the next couple of months.

Go to the HP website and look for drivers for your model printer for MS VISTA.

The printer might not yet be available. If it's not on HPs websiter yet, plug the printer into your coputer and run Windows Update. If there's a generic driver available it will install.

IF it is an older printer you will need to connect to the web site and download the new drivers if it is a new printer it should have the drivers in it but I would try the web site as well

From what I understand there is some kind of fluke with Vista & compatibility of alot of programs. HP Solutions online can tell you how to fix it. I think microsoft does too. But HP can tell you what it is & fix it.
