yeah i liked wcw it was bit more challenging but i liked the pro wrestling game with the star guy in it

The one thing that was better about those older wrestling games is that the action was more realistic is one manner, if you pound on your opponent enough, they are all done and you pin them for the 1,2,3,. As much nicer as these newer games are (Smackdown vs. RAW), the only drawback is that you can spend more than 2 hours knocking around a diva while you're freakin' Kane, Snitsky, or Heidenrich and after you let them get up, they still always fight strong and at 100%.

That to me, is a little too unrealistic.. Some WCW game from the late 90s, forgot what it was called by it had "Disco Inferno" in there, showed your chracters and your opponent's life bar. When one of your lifebars are depleted completely, you are all done, that's a little more realistic.

I really didn't like any wrestling games until WCW vs nWo World Tour came out.

I was a big fan of the WWF and their Nintendo and Super Nintendo games when I was a brat. They were all great and highly entertaining, but my favorite "wrestling game" for the NES was without a doubt "pro wrestling." My favorite character to use was Starman. WCW was pretty fun. WWF/WWE games were pretty crappy until the Playstation came along.
