for strep throat. The doctor told me to lay on the exam table and said that he would be right back. Both my doctor and a nurse came in the room. The nurse lifted up my skirt and used an alcohol swab on my butt. Then my doctor put his hand under my front side and began tickling it (which made me laugh histarically) and the nurse injected the penicillin in my butt. It wasn't in an abusive manner as my thong was still on and my pediatrician was only trying to reduce the pain of the big shot. In general, are shots given to 15 yr olds in the butt?

I don't know if shots are routinely given in the butt, but doctors do not routinely tickle their female patients in the vagina. Tell your parents immediately! This doctor was waaay out of line! If he wanted to make you laugh he could have told you a great joke.

Heck no. Penicillin can be given by tablets so there was no need for that.
That incident reeks of sexual touching (predatory practices by a trusted individual) and doctors have been known to lose their licenses to practice with incidents like this.
Record everything regarding the incident,location of clinic, witnesses, full names of the doctor and the nurse. time and date. Ask your parents for advice first.
The incident you described is out of the ordinary so you might think it is a joke, but it is not.
My first reaction was to suspect your story.
Everything was all wrong with your story. The medical practice have sets of standard ways of practice and we all do things in exactly the same way.
It is up to you to prove everybody who reads this that you are telling the truth.

Penicillin is given in the buttocks often but most other shots are given in the thigh or arm muscle. The behavior you describe in your post is not appropriate and if this really happened I hope you report it to your parents so the can change your doctor. This was not something to be laughing about and should not have been tolerated.

lol...I am sorry but this has left me in stitches!If this indeed happend then girl,RUN don't walk to tell your parents or trusted adult.NO doctor is supposed to tickle your pee pee!I can't imagine a doctor doing that at all,not saying he didn't but if he did.....go tell someone NOW!Getting a shot in the butt by a Doctor is OK though,no matter what the age,that's nothing for concern....But tickling your vagina as you said is obsurd.Tickling you ANYWHERE for that matter isn't proper...

yes people of all ages get shots in the butt, having a Doc tickle you there is not right, tell your parents this is not normal, and immoral practices in the medical profession, there are Doc in the news all the time sexually abusing their patients, this should not be allowed to happen, think of what he is doing to others and maybe even younger.
