The hardest part is before marriage and finding the right person, marriage is alot of work, but also a lot of rewards. It may be hard at times, but if it's with someone you love you just work at it everyday.

not married, but the thought of having to put the seat down ever time I pee is enough to keep me away!lol Kidding. I was married and the hardest part for me was when we had 3 babies we never spent alone time together. He always went out with his buddies and I stayed at home with the littles. Happily divorced 10 years and counting!
PS
not against marriage to the right person!

Seriously? Here's the answer from a man happily married for 36 yrs.
A: having the emotional maturity and sense of compromise that allows you to LIVE with another human being in harmony.
Having a sense of sympathy for the human condition and forgiveness, because you're GOING to screw up on occasion, brother.
Marriage is not the issue, believe me.
The issue is whether or not you have the grace to live harmoniously with another human being.
I kid you not.

Keeping the lines of communication open. Not respecting one another view point (we don't always have to agree). Treating each other like equal partners. Taking each other for granted. These aren't hard things but keeping your level of awareness high sometime is. Life and stress get in the way if you don't work hard at not letting it affect your marriage.

the hardest part of marriage is the petty arguments. Some married people think they are always right when they arent. sometimes they fight over the smallest thing. get over it and listen. sometimes you just have to listen and pay attention.some people dont listen thats the hardest thing. the next hardest thing is your spouses family or your family getting involed in your marriage. taking sides is hard............goodl uck.

Compromise. Trust. Communication. Compromise is hard; and if both don't do it, you're sunk.
