For me, I'd have to go with the Woo Hoo song by THE 5.6.7.8's. From all those Vonage commercials!

"This Is Our Country," by John Cougar Mellencamp (currently used for the Chevy Silverado TV ad airing in heavy rotation on just about every US television station out there.)

Don't get me wrong; I like Mellencamp a good deal and have since I was a kid. However, that commercial uses it in the most terrible way, and misses the point of Mellencamp's music - which is to represent Middle America, not to glorify it.

Plus, the lyrics are lame, and Mellencamp is generally a gifted songwriter. But what's up with "I can stand beside the idea to stand and fight"? Message aside, which you may agree or disagree with, that's just bad songwriting.

For me, it'd have to be Wait by the Ying Yang Twins, anything by P.Diddy and all that other predictable US urban stuff. Also not that keen on Butterfly by Crazy Town (for some wierd reason, it actually made me feel physically sick!) or ;Ladies Night (either Kool and The Gang or Atomic Kitten's versions) or The Tide is High by Atomic Kitten or anything by Jojo

keeprockin, it was DJ Otzi who did the version of Hey Baby I know and love (not!)

Anything by Sheryl Crow. All her songs are so annoying they make me want to bash my head against the wall!

'Come On Eileen' by Dexy's Midnight Runners.

I just couldnt get along with this group or their style of music at all, and the song always put me in mind of drunken old people doing the knees-up at wedding receptions ... which is when it usually always seemed to be played!

It just makes me cringe, especially the bit when it speeds up ... i can just see the people on the wedding dance floor speeding up and falling over making spectacles of themselves!!!!! LOL
