Both Are Divisible By 3, an Interesting Thing I was Told, Long Ago, is that, if the Sum of the Digits In a Figure is Divisible By 3, then the Figure is Divisible By 3, e. g., 7+2=9,1+8=9, Both Are Divisible By 3. The Least is 2, Both Are Even.

2 is the least common multiple of 72 and 18
72 is divisible by 2,3,4,8,9,18
18 is divisible by 2,3,6,9
the least commom multiple in both is 2 and the next least is 3
so the answer is 2 not three
