I have tried everything(by the time you have raised 3 daughters and given 3 weddings you have tried almost everything made!)I found that the best skin starts with clean skin, then moisturizer, and then mineral powder foundation. The arbonne mineral powder is so good,I went into the Arbonne business. My skin looks better than it did years ago. My 30 year old daughter and my 24 year old co-worker introduced me to mineral powder foundation. It is good for your skin. ALL skin looks better when it is taken care of, but no one should have to cake it on. Mineral powder looks like you have beautiful, flawless, naked ,natural, beautiful skin.Good luck!

Double Wear foundation by Estee Lauder (I see SWANNY has recommended this too but it's not Elizabeth Arden!) - whenever someone has tried a bit of mine, they switch to it immediately. Try it out and you'll see why... Clinique pressed powder is perfect on top of this and the combination of these two products will give you a stunningly flawless finish which will last all day. Your other makeup will go on beautifully and your skin will look like a model's. Honestly - you don't know what you're missing!

I use to use clinque with worked well, a foundation and then the top powder. Anyway I have now switched to bare minerals because it's really fast and easy. It helps cover up red markings well and some acne, but if you need a good consealer I would look else where. I think then clinque would be better for you to use.

If you want a dewy look, like most celebs...try Dewy Smooth from Clinique. Its great. I would go to the makeup counter and ask them to apply some on your face. Even ask for a sample, take it home and try it for a couple days.

Good Luck!!

*foundation*I usually use maybelline matt mouse, gives a really good 'flawless' finishes, always have my friends admiration of my makeup!
Another good brand to use is clinique, and you definatley do get more for your money, you can end up spending more than the 'supermarket' brands, but it is definatley worthwhile!
*concealer* Elizabeth Arden range has a great collection of concelars/highlighters go to this link to visit the 'beauty selector which is also a great help! http://www.handbag.com/beauty/beautyselector/home/

Hope that helps!

i think the best thing to use is tesco values own brand. its really something else, for just 99p you get a big bottle that will last a couple of years, and it just gives you that flawless finish.
word has it that catherine zeta jones uses it (but don't go telling everyone)!
hope this helps sweet cheeks x x
