I miscarried a year ago.. and now every drip, drop or hint of discharge, and I am completely freaking out. I looked online, and found a lot of answers about late in your pregnancy - but I'm talking around 6-9 weeks...so, NO it isn't the mucus plug. I don't mean to be gross, but I am nervous... Please help ! (and NO, there is NO foul odor) Thanks ...

any discharge that is not clear or white or that has blood in it, or that has an unusual odor is not normal. you could go through some gooey or stringy thick mucus, but it is normal

It is completely normal. I am 10 weeks pregnant and I started to get a heavy discharge around 61/2 weeks. I totally freaked out too and thought I had some sort of infection. But after talking to the doctor, she told me it was completely normal as long as it wasn't itchy or had a foul odor. A thick whitish or light yellow mild smelling discharge is completely normal. It is actually the same discharge most women have prior to their menstrual periods when their hormones increase. While pregnant your hormones increase so drastically, especially in the beginning, that you see an increase in your discharge. It is actually a good sign indicating that your hormones are rising. So don't worry. And it will come and go like most early pregnancy symptoms. At times when I won't have it, I get nervous thinking my hormones have decreased. I know this sounds crazy but I'm actually happy when I see it cause I know my body is working right. So don't stress and wear a panty liner or cotton underwear to help keep you dry. Congratulations!!!

Most clear and even sometimes cloudy discharge is perfectly normal. Your body is changing therefore there is an abundance of hormones flowing through your body. I would however call your OG/GyN and discuss with them and have them hear your concerns. I am sure they wouldn't mind having you come in for a visit it wouldn't hurt to have some reassurance. If it is itchy and clumpy it could be a yeast infection which too can caused by the extra moisture due to your preganancy. Again your best option is to see your doctor. I will say a prayer for you and a healthy pregancy!

I'd say that wearing a panty liner during early pregnancy might make you comfortable. Yes, its normal to have a lot more than prepregnancy. And in fact when I was just a few weeks, I experienced a "gush" (sorry tmi) and was sure that I was having a miscarriage (I've had one before) but no, it was fine. All my tests have come out fine. Just wait until you get into your third trimester (I'm 32 weeks)! I change my pad 3 times a day! Enjoy it while you can, it just gets worse. But it's normal.

Icky. yet confident! i'm 38 weeks and 3 days, and that i've got seen some notably extraordinary stuff. each and every so often it is thick and whitish, and each so often it is stringy and gooey and sparkling, haha. each and every so often it has a no longer-so-friendly scent and each so often it does not scent like something. i've got talked to my midwife approximately it, and he or she mentioned it is no longer something to be frightened approximately except its think of, white, chunky and inflicting you to itch which could be a yeast an infection. yet even those are completely known and extra undemanding for the time of being pregnant...ask your rfile or midwife once you're nevertheless in touch. they have seen all of it.

As Jenny McCarthy put it oh so pleasant..You have a" snail trail" Sorry to be blunt about it but this is normal. My whole pregnancy I had to wear panty liners. You are o.k. But if you are like me and worry about every little thing. Call your Doctor

It might just be a yeast infection. When your body is going through change like pregnancy go for a check-up on every thing it will be safer for you and your unborn child.

I am 34w -- and I have had increased discharge since day one. It was actually a clue for me that I might be pregnant.

So, don't get nervous. It sounds like what you are experiencing is normal.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant.
I'm soooo "moist/wet", what ever you want to call it.
I have to wear a pantyliner daily.

It's CLEAR, slimy, no odor, no discoloration. Very liquidy, not mucusy.

As long as there isn't any strong odor and not itching down there then it should be normal. IT becomes heavier when you are pregnant.
