These are both derogatory terms used for females who dare to have more than one sexual partner. These terms caused women to be shunned and thus contributed to women behaving within the norm or be punished by not finding a mate or having resources withdrawn from them. Men wanted always to be sure children were theres so they designed ways to control women's sexuality to gaurd against paternal uncertaintly. This is still going on today with female genital cutting. In the U.S. anything about women's private bodies becomes fodder for public debate with the conservatives ruling on what women can and cannot do. Men have never been under this scrutiny. I don't think that's what these words are meant for. I've found that more women use them than men do, and I don't think women would care to control other women's sexuality. Most of the time, these words are not even meant to say "she's had sex with tons of people". They are almost like slang now, and used towards anyone you don't like. I'm not saying it's right to call a woman this, but it's not necessarily in an attempt to control their sexuality. I do, however, think it's very messed up that a guy can sleep with 25 different girls and have a good reputation , but if a woman has more than 2 sexual partners she is considered a slut.

No. Never heard of women calling other women sl**s or whores?

Why the need to blame everything on men? Even in your other question you accuse men of trying to control women through marriage.

If I were you I'd see a psycologist about it.
