You are right. Last year the announcers were refering to him as "wah" - but it was actually "Joe".
The Florida sports information director made sure it was corrected this year.

a honest volume yet no longer completely. As examples (yet no longer an unique checklist!), i comprehend Punch extremely likes Elvis Costello, yet captain futility does not (on the different hand, the captain and that i've got countless people bands in undemanding). i comprehend hues of gray and that i are the two huge Warren Zevon followers, yet i do no longer comprehend what number different persons are. 1965 and that i will nicely be the comparable individual, musically! on the different hand, there are persons with whom I quite have much less in undemanding, like RJ (who's the only individual i've got ever seen additionally point out crafty Shazam, even in spite of the shown fact that) and killer peaches, whose musical hobbies are very, very distinctive than mine. For those sort of persons (and the others on my touch checklist), in spite of the shown fact that, the standard of their replies is what made me acquaintances with them, no longer their musical hobbies. i'm hoping my contacts think of the comparable of me!

It has always been pronounced "Joe-kim." You may have heard someone mispronounce it last year, but I know for a fact that since he has played for Florida, his name has always been pronounced "Joe-kim'.

he is french not spanish. Therefor Joakim is pronounced Joa - kimm. Announcers are saying it right.
PS: He yelled to the crowd "I am Joa - kim Noah, son of Yannik Noah!!"
