Less is more simply means that you don't have to add on anything extra to add beauty. Without all the extras your still left with BEAUTY!
On a general stand point theres nothing taking away from the beauty of whatever the subject may be. whether it's a person, a picture, a place or a thing.

A simple, clear-cut, well-stated idea is better than an entire essay on the subject. Less is more, because less is more likely to result in effective communication. More is less, because it can become boring, confusing, and/or overdone.
From another perspective, doing the single most important thing to solve a problem (less is more) is usually more effective than doing a lot of less important things (more is less).

it means that sometimes the less there is, the better. for example, if u r decorating a piece of paper, and u overdue it, putting all sort of cool things all over it, it just looks kind of junky. however, if u put a few cool things on it, it would look really nice and better looking for the eye.

It means you achieve more with less junk, like not overdoing the make-up, not weighing yourself down with baggage on a holiday , or speaking straightforwardly instead of blathering.

Less works out to be better, ergo becoming 'more.' The weight of a backpacker's tent, for example.

you don't need 100 pairs of shoes, you don't need a dinner set of 35 , you don't need 75 t shirts, say less , more can be overkill
