I'm guessing it won't be that much due to the fact that he's still playing. My guess would be maybe twice the original price, maybe a few cents more. If I were you, though, I would be putting that card in a case and hiding it from myself so I don't lose it or sell it. If he keeps up this pace, it will be worth hundreds when he retires.

Is it a numbered card? As in, are there only a certain numbered made of that? If its a common, it really won't be worth too much. Many collectors today are only into graded cards, autographed cards, numbered cards, or game used cards. Rookies are nice, but unless it falls into one of those categories for cards out there currently, it really won't garner much.

not much, since he is still playing, hold on to it for about 20 years, then it will probably be worth quite a bit, that is if he keeps playing the way he is.

hold on to it if you think he'll be one of the alltime greats
