Stallions and geldings need their sheaths cleaned at least once per year, minimum, and more often if they live in excessively dusty or dirty areas. Breeding stallions need to be cleaned every time they are bred, before and after they cover a mare. It's also important to keep a stallion's underside and belly clean as well, so as to avoid carrying dirt and hair into a mare's reproductive tract. Horses can get infections and VD too, you know, and some of those infections can cause sterility. As for the rest of this question, I am not going to comment.

Actually, "shima" means "my mother" while a "mother" in general is spelt "bima".
shi --> like "shi" in ship.
bi --> like "bi" in bit.
ma --> like "muh"
Aside from that, I want to add a few possible names to the list. Being Navajo myself, I'm partial to giving it a "Navajo" name. :)
hook'eed - which means "to be empty" implying that something has been deserted or emptied.
t'óó ha'oo'áhlígo - which means "Just as the sun was coming up". This one may be a little impractical but you could Anglocize it a bit while retaining the implied meaning.
t'áá chánahgo - which means "spirited".
sidziil - which means "I am strong".
If you need a pronunciation guide, just ask.

Out of the list I like KB because its short, it has multiple meanings, it ties in Kaite's name, and it's cute. I know that the name Candice doesn't have any of those things in it but I've always liked the name anyway :)

Just name the dang horse already- you've posted this question many other times and people gave you great ideas. In the end you are going to have to decide and I'm thinking since you asked this question like a month ago that you're just trying to get sympathy or attention.
Yeah, your horse having died is sad- but most top breeders now a days are weaning off their colts and fillies at 4-5 months of age- so it's not like your horse requires any other special attention. and please press the spell check button before you post.

Mostly black and white beauty, that or spot. Epona was Zelda's horse from the video game Ocarina of Time.

Katie's Pride is kinda what I was thinking...
Katie's Hope
Or maybe even Phoenix, his mother living on as a part of him.
As says Dictionary.com "...often an emblem of immortality or of reborn idealism or hope."

first off i am sorry for your lost. i like Katie's prince, or maybe Katie's spirit and call him spirit. if i had to choose i would say Katie's shadow or Katie's whisper so that way it says in its own way that his mother has passed on but she is still there in your heart. so that is why i would pick those names. my horse's mom died when he was young and we decided to call him Casper after the ghost so it resembles the death of his mother but her ghost is still with us. since it is your horse look at him in his eyes and say the names you like out loud and if you don't think they fit than don't call him that.
good luck!
