Thanks for Asking because I just went for a darker color and it is a Huge difference in the way I feel. I have kept my hair light blonde all my life, since jr. high school, and never (not once) let it grow out. Yesterday I spent all day changing it to a darker color and it makes me feel very free. Many thanks for the question and for reading the answers!! Colors look different on me too and I guess my make-up will have to change. Oh Nuts!! Some new clothes and make-up!! What a drag, huh????
