i seem to remember french and saunders doing a cover of the beatles song help was it for comic relief .....have any idea of the date they did it????

Yes and it was fantastic, i cant believe i still remember it, Done with Bananarama.....Does anyone remember when The Young One's done a cover of Living Doll, by Sir Cliff, now that was the nuts....hehehehehe

They covered it with Banarama for Comic Relief in 1988. It was Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders & cathy Burke - they called themselves Lananeeneenoonoo! very funny video!

I have it on my "Smash Hits '89" cd, so probably means 1988. :)
