It means you have the potential to hone (or sharpen) psychic abilities.

Was this psychic or physical?

Either way, "untapped" means not yet used, but they are there. Psychic would mean ESP, the ability to read minds or telekenesis (the ability to move things with your mind). Physical means that you could be faster, stronger, or have better dexterity.
