Yup. When I was growing up, my friend's mother made Menudo every weekend. Little did I know at the time that delicious "meat" in it was stomach lining. Although it is delicious, I cannot eat it without nearly vomiting.

Then I was eating some tacos one day and kept asking what the meat was because it was too tender to be steak. They wouldn't tell me until I was done. It was Lengua. (tongue)

Yes, when I was younger I ate this Filipino dish called dinuguan and thought it was some sort of salty chocolate. My mom told me it was pig's blood stew and I was grossed out. But now I just enjoy it for its taste and pride that I enjoy Filipino foods that are sometimes on Fear Factor. :D

I was about 6 years old. We were at my Uncle's. We were about to have lunch and thought we were having chicken. My cousin figured out, that it was in fact, her pet rabbit...needless to say.....
