Funny books, try Terry Pratchett. Dragons ans stuff try almost any fantasy writer. Go to Baen Books on the web and search through the authors. They are listed A to Z and you can find some really great books, both old and new. Have fun!

Faerie Wars, King Fortis the Brave, Eragon, Here There Be Dragons are all good books to read!

I recently read two books: Eragon and Eldest - both by Christopher Paolini. They're fantasy and adventure. They also have dragons, dwarves, elves, and magic. The third book is coming this summer. Also, if you haven't read Harry Potter, that's really good too. Happy reading!

For books that are funny, it's hard to beat the many books written by humorist Dave Barry.
I especially enjoyed one called "Dave Barry's Complete Guide to Guys," which contains some wonderful (and humorous) insights into how guys think.
