I have what i think is a pretty good idea for a tv show. What do i need to do to take it to the next level?. I have no contacts in tv and am not really interested in trying to make a low budget version of it myself.

try cable other than that you have to sleep with a producer.

Try making it yourself. Seriously. Get some talented (trustworthy) individuals together and just go for it. Then you can sell your idea with a ready made product. i keep meaning to do this with my own tv show idea, but am too busy with other projects.
