I liked it. Copelands music was right on the money for the mood and the few episodes I saw were pretty entertaining, if a bit far fetched.

I used to love it. It was on Thursday nights at 9pm.
I saw a rerun a while ago and it looks really old fashioned.
Edward Woodward only lives a few miles away from me and I'm afraid that the years have taken it's toll (Sorry Ed!). He definitely wouldn't cut the mustard these days!!!!
.
BTW .... Why does Edward Wooward have 4 d's in his name?????? otherwise he'd be called Ewar Woowar! Hee hee

One of the best TV series in recent years. Edward Woodward IS NOT dead yet and continues to act. Callan was class too.

I always thought it was a little odd....you know, a guy ready to retire scaring off all these thugs.
But, he is a pretty good actor and he played the "ghost of Christmas Present" in A Christmas Carol (w/George C. Scott) about as well as anyone could have.

Equaliser was brilliant.
"Give me the gun, come on - hand it to me"
lol, every week he'd be held at gunpoint by some criminal but those immortal words would somehow just make the baddie give him/herself up.
Bring back The Equaliser, that's my thought for the day!!

I used to love Equalizer and used to even record it while watching it because I loved it so much. It would be nice for them to do a remake some twenty years later...

I liked his accent and the way he just got down to business. But you know, everywhere he went,Control was right there.

It was that gun he used that made him popular..not bad I suppose but it would be the same with Clint Eastwood playing Dirty Harry...it was the gun that made him popular.
