The role of women in American society has changed over the centuries but at a very slow pace. In hunting/gathering societies they had more equality and created much of the products used by the family and sold/traded by the family. But as feudalism enveloped the society the military imperative changed the means of production and society became male dominate. Men and women should function in the role that suits them. Such as there are some men that are better parents them some women just as there are some women that make better soldiers them some men. If people stopped worrying about gender and started looking at the humanity of each individual then roles would be equal to the individual. But this concept is a ways off and currently women AND men are busy fighting from within their own gender to be able to move at a quicker more efficient pace. Only time will tell.

The role of women is to make damn sure the family knows who wears the skirt!!
If she is doing her job properly then the family will understand why the skirt rules the house.
Having made those two statements I feel that you should know that to whom much has been given, much is required.
Here the wisdom of the woman's gender should be in the drivers seat. The women of any society are the ones who instill the morals, values, and social etiquette's on the children, both male, and female. She is the one who knows that boys are boys and never will the little darling grow up to be woman. It is the woman who will insure the success of her husband, and the success of her children. She will teach her daughters how to be a woman and at a certain age she will place her sons under her husbands wings to grow as a man should grow.
The role of the women in society is to keep the fools from destroying the world her children live in. It all starts in HER HOME.

The role of women in todays society has undergone such a transformation I doubt even we know what is expected of us. If you are a working mother you are made to feel guilty because your children are woith essential strangers all day but if you are a stay at home mom you are accused of not contributing to the financial well being of your family - so how do women cope? Mothers were traditionally the home makers, healers and nuterers of families but today they are all these aswell as the financial director, CEO, Events co-ordinater etc of the family. Womens roles have definately changed and although they are very much for the better, one does wish that some things have remained the same. I wish I could be at home when my children return form school to help with homework and carpool them all over ar to just simply beable to sit and really listen to them without having ten other things on my mind .... but so is life. In an ideal world, we would have all this and still be happy and balanced but we don't so we get on eith being super woman/mom

before we decide ourselves that what we need to do, we should see for what we have been created.every individual (either man, animal or plant) has been assigned a specific task. and so men and women as well.......

but sometimes we go in useless competition and forgets that this is not part of our duty, or if we try to do that then we will definitely fail and furstrated.

so here women's task is to look after her family, and its really important. some ppl criticize that "by sitting home u r wasting time" . its just a bullshit. by sitting home and rearing ur kids means u r contributing to the society. because u r preparing kids to be the better and healthy part of the society. for this kids need attention, and proper education and guidance. how one can give all this totally if her mind is stuck in office work.

finance is husband's duty and home is wife's responsibility. in this way, the healthy and happy family can run insha Allah

the role of women in society should be equal, as long as theyre prepared to do the same e.g. sport in tennis if women decide to play the same amount of sets then they can have the same prize money and not before
