and can you charge it while it's off?

UGH! i spent forver turning my ipod off and then when i plugged it in to charge it turned on.

you can hold down the pause button forever and then press the hold button

to turn off my nano, i hold down the play/pause button. i never hold the menu.

thats the only way i know of turning mine off. yeah, it sucks. and yes, you can charge your ipod while its off.
