I need to find a good article on the patriots and loyalits, like if they had any battles and stuff. does anyone have any suggestions?

use google to find articles on the Battle of Kings Mountain or the Battle of Moore's Creek.
Both battles were fought primarily by patriots and loyalists instead of british soldiers being heavily involved

A great source is "Redcoats and Rebels" by Christopher Hibbert. It describes the American Revolution "through British eyes". A lot more thorough and complete than the pablum taught in US public school history classes. And it's non-judgemental.
